wooh... just came back from penang yesterday night... anw, here's what happenned the last few days...
SUNDAY
In the evening, went to my grandmother's place to eat dinner... after that, left fro sch around 8.20pm... reached there around 8.50pm... registered with tchr, did some admin stuff, then we left at 9.20pm... the bus took us to the 2nd link, then changed bus at the malaysian side... the bus was quite comfortable... haha... slept throughout most of the journey, but woke up at Yong Peng for a midnight snack.... (coffee)... haha... after that, because of the coffee, couldn't sleep... anw, we watched Ice Age 2 on the bus tv, but halfway i slept again... haha... after the second rest stop, i stayed up, talking to my friends... looked out of the widow, and saw literally thoudands of stars! also could see the milky way, a long band of whitish patches across the nightsky, from the light of other stars in the galaxy... was very nice... haha... anw, when i next opened my eyes, we were quite near penang... we stopped at a rest stop again around 7am to brush our teeth and wash up, then left again for penang...
MONDAY
we reached the penang bridge around 8am, and we went to a local coffee shop to eat breakfast, which consisted of roti prata and teh tarik... after that, we did a little sightseeing... we walked to the Khoo Kong Si clanhouse/museum... walked around the place, having fun and all... haha... after that, we went to the reclining buddha place, then we went to the snake temple... the place was quite nice, and the snakes were interesting... ;) haha... anw, bought a souvenir there, a woodem snake... haha... after that, went to the botanical gardens, had about half an hour there, then went to check in at our hotel, the Tanjong Bungah Hotel at the edge of Batu Ferrenghi.Reached around 12.30, then ate our lunch at the hotel restaurant. we checked in around 2pm, then left again at 4pm after bathing and washing up... we went to the butterfly farm... it was quite a nice place, but the souvenirs there were quite ex, so i didn't buy any... the butterlfies were quite nice, many species flying around the place together... after that, we went to eat dinner at a local hawker center, ate a pizza, fish and chips, o-lua, and char kway teow... shared the food with dickson and james... after the dinner, dickson, danial, dailami, gabriel, sajiv and i went to shop at the night market beside the hawker centre... after buying a lot of stuff, we went back to the bus, and the bus left around 10.30 for the hotel... after bathing and everything, we went to each other's room and had a party! haha... dickson and i shared room, and dailami and danial's room was adjoining us... james, sajiv and gabriel came into our rooms to play but decided to sleep in our rooms as it was more fun... by the time we slept, it was around 3am... haha...
TUESDAY
woke up at 7.45... had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, then went down to the beach for the telematches that our tchr and guides had arranged... played tug of war, treasure hunt, water balloon game, beach volleyball and a few other games... after the games, jumped in the pool with keagan, benjamin, sajiv, dickson and gabriel... pavi and a few others joined us also.. haha... played in the pool for a while, then went back up to the room to change... had quite a good lunch at the hotel restaurant again, then went off to a local shop that sold ba kut teh and tau sa piahs... bought a box of tau sah piahs to bring back home, but didnt buy anything else, as i tought it was a bit ex... we reached penang hill around 2.15pm, got our tickets for the furnicular up the hill, then boarded the bus again as our tram ride was at 4pm... our tchrs and guides had a paper boat race while waiting for the bus at the drain, as the water was moving quite fast... hahaha.... we took the bus to a nearby market, then we shopped and rested there... at 3.30pm, the bus picked us up and brought us back to the penang hill... after a stuffy and packed ride up the hill in the tram with an irritating small boy distubing me from behind, we had about half an hour at the top... after the another cramped ride down, with the same boy disturbing my friend now(haha), we went for dinner at a rstaurant that had indian cuisine, i think the name was"passage through India".. after that, went to buy supper back to the hotel... we were quite tired, and all of us slept by 11.30... haha... james, sajiv and gabriel shared our room again... WEDNESDAYwoke up early at 6.30 plus... as we had to check out of the hotel to be on time to go to KL... finished my packing then got ready to go for breakfast... went up again at 7.45am to get our luggage and check our rooms, then checked out... the bus left around 8am for KL... on the way, we watched The Nun, quite a freaky show... haha... we reached KL around 12.30pm, then ate at another indian restauranton the outskirst of KL... then we went to Sungei Wang to shop... had about 2 and a half hours of shopping time there, then we left to go back to sinagpore at 4.30pm... we ate dinner at Yong Peng, and by the time we reached the Malaysian customs it was 9.30pm... went throught he Singapore customs with no difficulty, and reached sch at around 10.30pm... went back home, then bathe dand slept...overall, it was quite a fun trip... hope that there can be another class trip like this... haha..."Behavior is a mirror in which we show our image." - Croft M.
